| Description | Children's Global Assessment Scale to score a subject's most impaired level of emotional and behavioural functioning in a specified period of time. |
| Use | Use to score a subject's most impaired level of emotional and behavioural functioning in the specified time period by selecting the lowest level which describes his/her functioning on a hypothetical continuum of health-illness. The scores can range from 1, which is the very worst, to 100, which is the very best. Use intermediary levels (e.g. 35, 58, 62). |
| Misuse | Not to be used for children under 4 years old. |
| Purpose | To score a subject's most impaired level of emotional and behavioural functioning in the specified period of time. |
